The International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering establishes its branch in Russia.
The International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) – global non-profit voluntary organization, bringing together experts and specialists of healthcare engineering industries. Its members are engaged in exchanging, improving and implementing their knowledge, skills and experience.
As the result of meeting ISPE administration, Organizing Committee of ISPE’s Eurasian Department, with participation FBI “State Institute of Drugs and Good Practices” delegates and representatives of “FAVEA Group” engineering company, supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation in April 2017 in Barcelona decision of establishing branch of ISPE in Russia.
Russian office’s core goal will be harmonization of requirements of good manufacturing practice in the pharmaceutical engineering industry. Establishing this office gives members of society to communicate on one common platform. In addition, it makes possible to make a translation and implementation of actual regulatory documents, special literature, and technical guidelines.
All scientific and technical areas of the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry are represented among the ISPE Membership. Engineers, microbiologists, chemists, QA/QC, production, process development, pharmacists, regulatory and training personnel, academia, suppliers, and other professionals contribute their expertise to the industry through their participation in ISPE activities. The total amount of members is about 22 000 through 90 countries.
